Al Lowe had designed Larry to evolve throughout the games, so the story of Larry is more complex than the story of many other game heroes. This game was the first of its kind to have sequels waiting. Basically he did almost everything in the game the first time I "played" it. Thankfully my older brother stepped in and helped me type such difficult commands as EXAMINE and GIVE WHISKEY TO DRUNK. (My English typing was quite basic in those days, to say the least). Considering that I was about eight years old when I first tried the game, it is a miracle that I actually managed to complete it. This game is great fun, and it kept me busy for a long time when it was released. The plot of the game is quite simple: you have to score with a female within 24 hours. The old Larry Laffer has died, and the new one is ready to get down and boogie!
